The last route of Che

Ernesto Che Guevara was, has been and will be a symbol of revolution and struggle and a source of inspiration for people with a cultural concept and romatico rebellion. For many fans and admirers, Bolivia is a place of pilgrimage especially Ñancahuazú area and La Higuera, where he was executed, hence it is the last path of Che.

Our proposed amount Tourism, history and contact with nature and boots from the southeast 275 km from the city of Santa Cruz, Lagunillas is one of the three museums on the guerrilla; the next stop takes us to Camiri, were tried and imprisoned the French intellectual Regis Debray and Argentine artist Ciro Bustos, detained after meeting with Che; after crossing the river Ñancahuazú, arrive at Vado de Yeso, a place that has gone down in history as there was ambushed the column in which it participated Tamara Bunke, the only guerrilla woman who was part of the socialist project in Bolivia. The final stretch of the route begins in history Quebrada del Battery, where 8 October 1967 Guevara was wounded and captured. After a walk of one hour for steep terrain, a painted rocks show us exactly where the events occurred. Thence, Che was moved to the town of La Higuera and a day later he was executed at the local school. Today, a huge bust with Che's face reminds the fighter died in his law.

A good idea to discover Bolivia differently, in the footsteps of Che.
